Sorry for the late reply. I’m probably not the best person to answer your questions about cost of living in Mauritius for I have left Mauritius in 2001 and a lot has changed since then. Your best bet is to get in touch with people who are still in Mauritius. You can ask them specific questions which will give you a good idea about the cost of living in Mauritius.
